Take my starlet as example. To get to those bulbs, you have to carefully
unscrew and pull off the boot lid trim. Upside down. With those fucked
little expanding screws... Very hard to get to.
I yanked the screws straight out with pliers in the end, job done very
easily.
There was a wire or bolt somewhere that I couldn't find stopping me from
taking it off completely, in the centre below the high level brake light.
Could be a real pain in the arse, or easy like the side bulbs in the same
car - pull cover off, bulb out, unscrew bulb, reverse procedure with new
bulb. 30 seconds to replace... but license plate lights? took me damn near
an hour with all the fucking around trying to unscrew the little plastic
bastards the traditional way because i didn't want to damage it.
