Now you see why I live in the South. Not only do we speak funny but we
also love God and our country. At least Washington's madness hasn't
made it to Richmond yet.

heh... good old Richmond, land of the Confederate Monuments. When I
lived there, had a friend come into town from Chicago, who had never
seen Monument Ave. before. She took a picture of every Confederate
statue because she swore no one would believe her!

Then the Arthur Ashe statue went up -- and its a really _bad_ statue.
Looks like he's threatening the kids with his tennis racket. sheesh.

Even during the war it took 4 years to get from Washington to Richmond.
Now it probably takes even longer.

OK then lets divide time between putting condoms on bananas (for the
liberal kooks) and teaching the "Theory" of "Intelligent Design" (for
the conservative kooks).

In between lets focus on my favorite subject: MATH

Re: Virginia's pledge law sustained

Children are not nearly so stupid as to think that the Pledge is religious
exercise. The court is correct, the Pledge contains a religious reference
but is not a religious exercise.

Meyer's kids do have a legal right to opt out of reciting the Pledge, but he
has no right to cause the Pledge to be removed from the classroom. The court
ruled correctly.

Nobody is asking public school to teach intelligent design, all we want is
to NOT teach evolution as the only explanation as to how life came about.
Evolution, by definition, only talks about how life has changed, it fails to
address the origins of life, and the truth of those origins might be held
differently by a child coming into the classroom. Teach that evolution is
ONE of the possible explanations, and most of us will be happy.

American Public Education was broken a long time before No Child Left Behind
came along.

Not only have you mised out on science, you need to keep up with politics:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/02/AR2005080200493.html

To quickly catch you up to speed: the origin of life is fully addressed by
science. Creationism (Intelligent Design) isn't taught in schools because
it's religion not science. The only time there's *any* debate about this is
when lazy thinkers congregate.

Not only have you misrepresented the facts, I believe you have also been
left out of the pool of those who have common sense. To say that Creationism
is 'religion' only shows just how shallow your thinking really is. Your
canned science in the efforts to change the 'theory' of evolution into a
'law' is an age old trick tried by many more educated and more swaying than
yourself. The 'science' you accept is more postulate than creationism could
ever be.

Therefore, the logical conclusion is that those who accept what you call
'science' without proof are really the lazy thinkers.

Some videos that evolutionists have real problems with, Most are free
downloads such as 'A Question of Origins"

This was made by scientists, who according to FanJet are Lazy thinkers.
Funny that it seems that you may be the lazy thinker here.

Interesting that one of your own evolutionists Dr. Morrow have an audio out
discussing the flaws of evolutionary thinking. Heck, your own side is
confused!
