LBJ didn't quit. He served his term and declined to run for re-election.

GWB will do the same (finish his term) and will not run for re-election.
That's because he is barred from serving three terms by the Constitution.

Nope, I learned that 35 years ago in grade school. Even if I hadn't learned
it then, it's pretty common knowledge that would have been picked up without
trying hard.

As for your cause, I can only assume it is to bash GWB at every turn.
