We are all still waiting for Learning Richard, who appears not to have
learned anything since he appeared on this newsgroup, to eat his words, to
wit, that he would call President Bush great if he took full responsibility
for the mess in New Orleans. . . . .
He, along with BurnMore, FartJet and company, are going back on the block
list. I'm tired of their lies. Of course they turn around and say I'm
lying.
One of these days, I really ought to slap their faces with a glove (Three
Stooges style) and demand satisfaction, except they wouldn't know what that
means. . . .

I suspect that their wives have no idea of what "satisfaction" is, either.

Don't hold your breath. Those kind of people have the personal
standards of an alley cat.

Bitter, indeed. And the old liberal trick of calling the truth tellers
liars because they don't jive with the liberal revisionist version of
'truth' is getting annoying. I got tired of it when Joe Goebbels and their
faivorite Uncle Joe did it.
Did you live in Florida when they still had county numbers on the plates
instead of names? I miss those old plates. My very first license plate in
my license plate collection is 1962 - 4D-21102. I've had it in my
collection since 1965.

You mean like Hillary and her lover at the Wal-mart Year End meeting over a
decade ago?
Frankly calling her an alley cat is an insult . . . to the cat.

I moved down in 79...and don't remember if they had numbers then or
not.
Only thing I remember is screwing up and throwing away an old plate
and getting a visit from the cops for parking downtown in a
handicapped zone....LOL.
Was NOT me...
Some Donkey Circle (Ass Hole in CB lingo) had stolen it from the
dump...LOL

In 1979 they were just replacing the 1975 base that still had the county
numbers on them. The new 1978 base started out with not even having a
county name on them. Some of the very first ones never got a county name on
them. I had one in my collection. I picked up a plate that was the next to
last plate issued in the first set of issues in 1977 to the DMV. No map, no
county name or sticker, just a plain green on white plate.
They stole the plate off the back of my Corolla in DumbDolt Park, but they
couldn't use it. Only I can have the particular license number I have.
They just wanted the brand new renewal sticker.
BTW the county numbers were based on vehicle registrations in 1937 by
county, so Dade was 1, Duval was 2, Hillsborough was 3, and Pinellas was 4.
19 was Brevard (Cape Canaveral), 10 was Broward (Ft. Lauderdale) Orange was
7. The last old county numbered plates you would have seen would be dated
75 in the upper left in orange on white. The new plates in 79 were green on
white and they started putting county names on them and maps somewhere
around then. But I suppose some of the counties could have still been
issuing the old 75 plates if they had any left.
