LOL! I'm not THAT old! When I left Toyota, the North American plants were
NUMMI in Fremont, CA; the Camry in Georgetown, KY; the Corolla in Cambridge,
Ontario; truck beds at Long Beach Fabricators in Long Beach, CA; an alloy
wheel plant in Canada somewhere; and forklifts in Columbus, IN.
I don't think those TLS facilities have many Toyota employees, if any. I
think the vehicles just come off the trains and are loaded onto the Portable
Parking Lots for delivery to dealers. The people who work at the TLS
facilities usually work for the railroad, trucking company, or are
surveyors.
