Oil pan bolt torque

What is the torque for the 21 oil pan bolts (6mm) on the 4cyl '97
camry? I have a corolla manual and it specifies 80 in-lbf. Can
anybody verify this?
Thanks

Ya! These are very SOFT bolts and will snap off if tightened too much!!!
(Um, speaking from experience here...)

Re: Oil pan bolt torque

I will probably replace the screws with 8.8 grade metric bolts,
because several look pretty rusted and a 25 pack of screws is only a
few dollars. Thanks for the torque spec. I plan to follow it, even
with the better screws.
