do i need a valve job/new seals???

my 4cylinder toyota trk. has only got 50# of compression in # 3, & 4
cylinders.

Could be a blown headgasket.
Why are you searching? Is it not running right?

Yes it's not running right,&won't pass emmissions. I was looking for other
replies as what might be wrong. though i'm sure the problem is in the top
part of motor.THANKS, JUST ABOUT READY TO TEST AND TAKE APART. CHAZ

When its warm very carefullyopen the rad cap and see if theres bubbles or
oil in the water. Leakage test next option I suppose.
