My new Tundra is FAST....daaaamn!

First v8 I've had since high school in the early 80's (hey, I've been on a
straight-6 kick!) and wow, what can I say, fun! That 4.7L really likes to
rev, which surprised me as the 305 Chevy V8 I had in my truck back in the
day didn't like to rev at all... sounded like the I-6 in my Jeep if you
revved it. Roared and vibrated. The Tundra engine just goes... the tranny
drops it a gear or three, the RPM's whip up past 4k, all stays smooth, and
away you go, now!

Sounds good doing it, too. Too bad it sucks so much gas! Or maybe it's for
the best...
