The big rule of complex repairs is knowing all the steps before you start.
Clutch replacement is no small task. You typically need special angled
wrenches and beware of asbestos (it was never totally banned for brakes and
clutches). You have to lift the transmission and apply critical torques at
various stages. Jacking up a truck on a lawn just isn't safe.
