Tundra add on towing mirrors

I am going to be towing a 96 inch wide travel trailer. I will need to
extend the OEM mirrors. Can anyone suggest a good fitting low vibration
towing mirror. Preferably a slip on design. Thanks

Re: Tundra add on towing mirrors

I use the adjustable clamp-on universal CIPA mirrocs on my '03 4Runner -
about $27 each from Amazon.com. I wish there was a better slip on custom
fitted to the Toyotas! They have them for FORD and GM -- but not for the #1
Car company TOYOTA.

Unfortunately, there is no solution better than strap-on mirrors.
Of those, McKesh are the best. The small mirrors that strap on the
existing mirrors likely do not give adequate span for an 8' wide
trailer.

I do not know about an 8' wide trailer but I do know that the slip-on
mirrors are totally inadequate for my 8.5' enclosed car trailer.
I went with the McKesh mirrors on my 2004 4Runner and they work well with my
8.5' trailer.

Hopefully when Toyota starts selling the new 2007 Tundra, they will offer
telescoping towing mirrors like other large American trucks have.
