axle question

Is it possible to mix parts from an 80-85 toyota front axle to make a
usable front end???

I'm sure there is... it all depends on what you are trying to do... what parts are bad in each axle, and go from there.. changing rings and pinions and such is no easy task, it requires lot's of know-how, and special tools... things are very precise in there... but, I believe the axle for a 1980, and a 1985 is the same..
