No spark plugs in 2002 Taco?

Just kidding. But, the only wires I see are really skinny, compared to other
cars I've owned, and they terminate (in the block) with these flat rubber
caps. How are those removed?

If they're like the ones in my 2004 Tacoma, just get under the flat rubber
caps, and pull them off like normal spark plug wires.
