doors won't lock

92 standard cab one ton. suddenly, for no appearant reason, I'm unable to
push down the door latches on both sides. Tried disconnecting electric door
lock switch but that didn't help. It allmost feels like a prankster
superglued them but that's highly unlikely.

This happened to me on one side -- the solonoid was locked up. I removed it
and pushed rod back and forth - it worked for another month or so then froze
again. I replaced with a new generic solonoid - about $12..
