IMHO (and from three dealers) They use a percentage of Kelly. Kelly is the
oldest and most used by dealers to 'set' and 'prove' their lot prices.
Edmunds gives you the price as a dealer buying, dealer selling, individual
selling, individual buying.
I've used Edmunds printouts to successfully negotiate with a "Kelley's"
dealer. In one case some $2500 difference on a used truck.
So ... do you want 'respect' or a true market price? <G>
