Heat Wrap

Is it worth putting heat wrap on a header of a 22re thats only used for off
roading?

It depends. If you are going to be going through mud and/or water don't
use it. The heat wrap will hold in the moisture and cause your header to
rust out extremely fast. If your truck won't see mud and water it should be
ok. You may want to look at the ceramic coated headers, I hear they hold up
real well.
