I was thinking if we have enough cressida owners or cressida wannabe owners maybe we could open a new forum for them. just post saying something if you have a cressida or want one. what ya think Ratko?

300 miles to the tank? is this city/highway/mix? i drove mostly city and never got close to 300 but then again i never waited until the empty light came on. well i hafta say that i do miss some things about the cressida. it has a bigger sunroof opening than my camry and felt a lot more powerful and the seats were more comfy/plush too.

ya i love how the sunroof opens nice and wide. Well now i get about 300 mpg because i only have my permit and i have to drive with my parents so i have to drive conservative. Once i get my lisence i most probably wont get 300mpg unless im driving conservativly. its a mix of city and highway

Yes. I can sometimes get 300 miles to the tank. My tank capacity is 18.5 US gallons.

I gots a 89 Cressida.
Drive hard and often.
When driven hard, 140 miles to the tank
When on the highway, 'bout 350 miles to the tank

I have a BLITZ air filter, Denso Iridium plugs, NGK wires, and HKS Titanium race exhaust with piping increased to 2.5"
Mods freed up HP and increased highway mileage.

I also fill up when the gas light comes on, so those mileage figures are based on an average of about 16.5 gallons, not a full tank.

hey, im a canadian owner of 92 cressida, and my tank is 60liters... which is around 16 gallon... so the u.s version is 18.5gallon???

and i can drive around 500km per tank, which is a little bit more than 300mile per tank

by the way guys, what kind of gas do you put in your car?? i usually put the most expensive gas, which is 92octane and i get better mileage with it

i use premium, usually 92 or 93 octane. Yes the us has an 18.5 gallon tank. atleast the 85-88 ones do. no sure about the 89-92's. i usually get about 300miles to a tank. when im cruising i get great mileage, under acceleration i get bad gas mileage
