1st Car= Cressida?

Hey, Im new here. My name is josh and Im 17 years old. I happend to come across this forum as I was looking for aftermarket parts for a cressida. This might/most likely be my 1st car I will own. Are there many aftermarket parts for this car? When I get older I want to Restore it, Drag or Drift. Depends on the range of aftermarket though.

Heres some pictures of it (pretty dirty)

Im not aware of the Year? Can someone tell me what year/Gen it is?
I will get some Engine Shots/ Interior Shots as soon as I get it Cleaned up a bit more.

Thanks for Looking!

ToyotaCressida.net should have the forums you'll need. Remember to use the search the forums.

Your Cressida is either a 1987 or 1988 model by the looks of it.

You got the blue plate. Cool! It might be an early 80's. My '83 300D has a blue plate too. And I believe they were until '85. If it has 7 figures (XYYYXXX) where X=number and Y=letter then it's after 1980 if ever they made them before that year. Where in SoCal are you? I'm in the Anaheim area.

It's not any older than 1987 and not any newer than 1988.

Well, yeah, but we in the Cressida community usually just call it the MX73.

My car has the blue plate, too. I like it, but it doesn't shine in the dark like the newer plates. Yeah, I know I revived a thread, but we can post frickin pornography on TN, so I don't think they care about revived dead threads.

I know, but he said gen 2 in his post, when the MX73 was the gen 3.
