5efe into 92 tercel WONT RUN HELP!!

first gen 5efe into a 92 tercel

5e engine
5e ecu
3e harness
5e injectors

we got it to 'run' but it keeps bogging out and stalling.
it will turn over and start running, then it starts to skip and bogs out. a big PUFF comes out the intake.

also the BIGGEST PROBLEM, is there is zero throttle response. at WOT the engine tone deepens and sounds more open, but nothing happens, there are no revs

im out of town until i can get this running,

on a positive note, we got the 3e out, the 5e in and running in about 12 hours

Sounds fuel related, do you know the 5e was running properly before taken out?

yes it was, it was fully rebuilt, and dropped into a 92 tercel, just like mine...

ran on that 92 for about 2000kms then it was pulled, sat for about 2 months, now its in mine.....

its definately getting fuel, but i was thinking fuel related something as well...

originally we had the 3e injectors in there, and then we swapped in the 5e injectors, didnt make any difference

How much coolant? I mean are we talking a fine mist or is it gushing like a marine over a toilet new years morning?

Sorry to say but, the only way I can imagine coolant in the exhaust is ........ blown head gasket.
