Removing ball air vents

Hi
Anyone removed these ball air vents from the dash? I want to get some of a different color to pop in there, but I can't seem to find anything in my book about it. Hopefully they pop out from the front and I don't have to pull the dash apart
Thanks
Phil

a coat hanger or a piece of bent wire would work...i was fooling around wiht mine today and turned the vent almost completely around but i didnt because i was a afraid theyd pop and and i would have to talk apart the dash to fit them back in
