On the road

Just got my 91 dx insured today and its great! I dont belive its as under powered as people say it is. If I show no mercy i can chirp the tires from 1st to second. This morning i was fooling around under the hood and decided that id remove the toyota badge from the front grille and it looks much cleaner with just the horizontal grille lines. although there was some contact marks where it was been siting for the last 14 years, its still looks cleaner. although i was a little disapointed when i parked it in a row of 20 stall parking spaces that were half full and when i came out there was no other car but mine.oh well just thought id post on my 1st day with it.

Nice work! 91 Tercels are the best. Mine will soon be the best in Manitoba. My 5efhe may actually be done. About damn time too, it's just under a week short of being 14 months since I last drove it.

What kind of mods are you planning? Need a sub amp? I have a massive Rockford amp just wasting away.

first, although it isnt really a mod i plan on getting the heater working to its full potential because it takes quite a while to blow even warm air(might be the thermostat.but when i get the money i plan on getting a 2.25" headerback exhaust with a universal magnaflow oval muffler and a tip. I was also thinking ground control coilovers but i think the eibach lowering springs would be more performance oriented. Going to buy a lower end pioneer head unit form wal-mart and recieve my uncles Infinty basslink self-amplified subwoofer. then all teh rest of my money goes to college in september.

I have both the Ground Control coilovers and the Eibachs. Both not installed yet, but I bet they will ride great.
