89 Tercel = Motor Loud...any solutions + suspension?

I have juss aquired a 89 Tercel coupe, white in color

and about 210,000 KM on the dial....with an auto tranny...

the thing is, that it was runnin great until recently,

I began to notice that motor gets hella loud, during cold start ups, at idle when at lights and during driving.....

I have no clue what the owner has done in terms of mantinence, but I did recently change the oil and filter...

could this loud motor be because of timming, possibly needs a tune up?

what are options and any way to solve this little problem here?

about suspension, on a 89 Tercel what are common components that tend to need replacin on the front end of this car?

yes the car still has some orginal things up front, so time too see what needs replacin.

man, check the exhaust for leaks. sounds like the car is either thinking it needs to idle up cause it thinks it's cold or something or it's got a vac leak.
