el43 I believe or is that el45 for a 95? I get confused what year the Terc changed body styles. I think it is el43 though.

Same here. I'm a Paseo guy. I know my code is el44 and the 2G Paseo is el54. I know all the Starlet codes that pertain to the Paseo/Tercel ep82, ep91, ep85, ep95... but I've never really paid much attention to the Terc. It is mos def a el4 something. I just don't remember if it is 42, 43, or 45.

I think the chassis code identifies the particular model / body style.

Seriously man. Go check out www.Tercelonline.com Those guys will have more info on the Terc than here. I only say that because there are only a handful of us T.O. guys here on T.N. and I personally don't know the exact code because I drive a Paseo and I know mine.

well, i looked at the vin to see what it said like tyler88 said to do and i found that it said that it was an EL55 then i kept reading and found that tdot tercel said that the code should be on the top of the firewall, so i looked at that and it said EL53. Which one is it? Would it help if i said that it was a two door? thanks for all the help
