Bride steering wheel/horn issue

I just picked yup a nice aftermarket steering wheel and wheel boss, but I can't seem to make the horn work. The new boss has a single wire connected to the spring-loaded thingy that makes the electrical connection, but the new wheel has two contacts on the horn button. Connecting the spade terminal to either of them does nothing. This appears to be the same setup that the original steering wheel used, so does anyone have any idea why this isn't working please? Maybe uit is coz I haven't yet put the steering wheel on, so maybe theres a (not) grounding issue??

I think that I used the center one and no, it won't work until it is mounted because it is a ground. You could test it easy enough with a DMM.

Yep, grounded it, works fine now
