hi everyone,
i've been looking for a 2nd car for a while. i had previously been looking for a 1992-1995 honda civic ex coupe, but then i came across a listing for a '93 paseo today with 79k miles for $2500. Is that a good price? Also, are there any pointers as to what I could look for in regards to any potential mechanical issues?

That price is average if the car is in good shape. Mechanical issues? Not many. All the major Paseo problems are minor things like cam seals or distributor seal leaking oil, severe need of a complete tune up, bad sensores, alternator, small stuff like that.

there's a 92 for sale as well, but i'm not sure what shape it's in. the '93 was a 1 owner car and in great shape. oh well.

sThey are great vehicles and good on gas, but as Paseo15psi says tune up kills them and it really depends on how well the previous Oonwer took care of it. but you can get a replacement engine used with less than 50,000 miles for around 800 with shipping. they do get 40 mPG. big plus
