If you open the door far enough I'm sure the engine hoist can sit it on your passenger seat area, I'd take the seat out first though. Oh, did you mean hook it up ? You might can do enough cutting/welding to put it in, but if you could afford all that would you be driving a tercel?
A far more reasonable car to shoehorn that in would be an AE86. I'm putting a 3SGTE in a tercel and I'm pretty sure that's as big as you can go without totally rebuilding the car.
But then what do I know? Bill Strong put a northstarV8 in a first gen MR2, and somebody else has done a toyota V8 in one. Take pics as you go!

uh, matt it wasnt a tercel that engine went into, it was an AE86
and if you have enough money to do that swap.... why would you be driving a tercel?

Dont get it twisted...GT_REVVA can do that swap in a TERCEL...it will just cost plenty of money. As for 'why'...the same reason why that cat in VA did the V8 Northstar Swap in a old school MR-2....to be different. Get up on it!
