Australia replacing spark plugs

i'm having difficulty removing the rubber boots to access the plugs on a 94 paseo, any trick to removing these? I dont' want to force them, they seem to not want to come out,... Any advice appreciated... couldn't find similar posts... ta

Panel popper if you are in a pinch, but there is such a thing as spark plug wire pliers. Made just to help pull that boot out.
