92 Tercel: blowing Fuel Pump Circuit fuse everyday

Whats up Toyota Nation! I'm new to the Forum, I'm a full out Toyota Fan owned several Supras and 4Runners. Can't believe I didn't hear of this forum earlier. Glad I found this Forum and hopefully somebody can help.

I have a problem with my girlfriend's 92 Tercel. We live in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. where it is -40 C in the last 2 days. ( fyi: -40 C = -40 F ). Some of you probably can't even imagine what -40 feels like. Even a house feels like an igloo sometimes.

Not sure if the temperature has anything to do with the problem I am about to decribe because a block heater has nothing to do with fuel pump circuit.

The Tercel has Remote Start which has worked flawlessly for 4 years.

4 days ago, ( on Sunday, today is Thurs ): upon starting with the remote start, it didn't start. She tried turning it with the key and it wouldn't start. No fuel smell at all. So I figured it was the Fuel Pump. I spent some time with a multimeter and found no power going to AM2 fuse. Pulled it out and sure enough, AM2 15A fuse was blown. Changed the fuse,
Tercel started like nothing was wrong.

Weds: after work for her, the AM2 fuse blew again. She changed the fuse and started like nothing was wrong.

Car runs fine, has not stalled while driving.

I told her to not use the Remote start for a few days to rule that out as the cause.

Questions:

Anybody know what AM2 stands for?
What is this circuit?
Has anybody had this problem before?
Where could I start to look to shorted out wires or bad grounds?

I will look closely at it this weekend, then possibly take it to an Auto Electric shop fo diagnosis if it happens again.
