Lightbulb Buying '92 Paseo!

I am really indebted to these forums for helping me to decide upon purchasing a '92 Paseo. I have owned several Subarus in the past and appreciated their durability (at least engine-wise). I have been looking for a small, sporty vehicle for a while as I commute quite a bit, and had my heart set on a Honda Prelude. But, then I spotted this lovely little black car. Toyota has quite a reputation for durability...but I wasn't very knowledgeable about such. The Paseo Forum sold me, and I found a car I like at a great price (Preludes are outrageous!) I'm picking the Paseo up this week. It has a great looking interior (I even tried out the back seat . I'm not a racer, but come from a family of rally enthusiasts who drove small displacement cars to great effect. I plan on keeping the car stock. I do need an antenna, however. Are the aftermarket parts worth buying?

Aftermarket ebay antenna fits fine. You just need to take apart the "A" pillar. Enjoy the Paseo. It is a really cool car and very durable. What other parts are you looking for?

Just to let you know, the stock antenna cable runs below the dash, above the speedo cluster, down to the radio. It is easier to just cut the old cable somewhere before it goes up over the cluster, and somewhere after it comes down. Run the new antenna cable along the bottom edge of the dash, to make things easy.

I did the same thing the last time I replaced it! I got tired of taking my dash apart.

Thanks for the input. I did buy the after market antenna on eBay and the instructions are pretty clear. I've got an aftermarket stereo/cd deck (sony). I also bought some used wiper arms due to rust on the originals.

Also, any idea what the original floor mats looked like and if there is a good source for replacements (Grey interior)?

In the OEM ones, you have a choice of black (00200-16951-01) or blue (00200-16931-04)
