4e-fte timing belt tensioner

Hi from Andrew of New Zealand. I am new to this forum.
I would like to be run through the process of releasing the timing belt tensioner.
I clearly understand all the relative timing position marks and have aligned all correctly in preparation for belt removal.With not having a manual I thought it wise to ask someone who has already replaced a timing belt to give me a run down on the tensioner release to remove existing timing belt.

To get access to workshop manuals in New Zealand is next to impossible as the manual required is in Japanese and translation services are very limited.

Thankyou from Andy.

I assume you have the top cover off at least so I'm going as if the bottom cover is still in place;

Pop the access cover off the lower cover near the lower pulley just to it's left. Loosen the bolt you'll find under this cover, do not remove the bolt, just loosen a few turns. Squeeze the belt together at the bottom of the upper pulley, while holding it squeezed snug the bolt back tight. The belt should now be loose enough to slip off the top pulley.
If the lower cover is off the bolt you need to loosen/snug is in the left idler pulley nearest the crankshaft.

No problem, I just had mine off 2 weeks ago so it's fresh in my mind.
