I am new to this site, just picked up a 94 DX and it runs pretty good, but when I hit the switch, the starter makes a loud hissing or squealing noise for a lack of a better term? The motor turns over fine, just worried about this starter going out, espeacially cause its an automatic transmission, no push start for those!

Well it could be lots of things, for me it was my acc. belt it was a bit loose and it would squeel on start up. Check that and see if it is worn out or loose.

Thanks for the input, I was just looking at it and saw some leaks around the crank and the belt might be ready for replacement.
