Modifying this car, is it worth it?

Hey just wondering how much joy can i expect to get out of this car? I have read this forum for quite sometime; this is my first thread actually

I have had it since August last year, and almost own it. Its a 1996 Model Pas, and is in pretty good condition, low miles (120Km), with the two previous owners being female and quite gente to it. And i was thinking about getting my cash together and swapping in the 4EFTE from the EP91/92 Starlet GT, but i mean is it worth it? All that power running through a front wheel drive, how much of it do you actually get to see?

One of my mates from uni thinks i would be better off selling it and getting a Pulsar GTi or Starlet GT. Dont get me wrong I love my Pas (even tho it is Turqoise , dw respray is on to-do list), but how much can i expect? Its such a hard decision so i was wondering if Riko or DrTweak had any ideas, oh and anyone else who has been there done that.

every car is different. depends how much $$ you are willing to spend, u can do nearly everything you wanted.

in my point a view, why dont you get something like Corolla Sportivo, theyre quick!

You do realize the car the 4EFTE comes from is FWD also right? Now if I had the option of that vs. a real Starlet I'd go Starlet as it's 250lbs lighter.
