You seem to have missed the
5efhe
This is your easiest/beefiest option, with about 115hp stock, it can easily handle boost, and has been proven to handle up and over 300hp on stock internals
The
4efte is a good base to work on b/c it is stock turbo, not sure what the stock hp is, maybe 130'ish, so its fairly easy to tune up to 140, 150 hp range, but it doesnt have the strength to handle serious power the way a 5efhe does
^^All these E-series poretty much bolt right up, stock, mounts, tranny and whatnot, just get the proper ECU and harness with them
The A Series I'm not so sure on, but they do not bolt right up the way the E series engine do, youll have to at the very least do custom motor mounts, and
i think a tranny swap
