im new and i did search....

cant find what im looking for and dont feel like driving out and buying a manual....prob not any where open on easter sunday anyways.....oh happy easter........ anyways i changed the drivers side axle...... what i need to know is how much fluid do i put back in the tranny...where from the speedo or is there a filler hole i over looked? what do i gauge down for it to be full? thanks ahead of time.....justin

If you have a manual tranny it takes 2.5 quarts. The filler hole is on top but it is pretty small, you might have to remove your air intake box to get to it. Check this out http://torontopaseoclub.com/modules....af4ce91c23f200
There is pictures and it is pretty easy to follow. Oh yea and definately do not overtighten the bolts! Now if you have an automatic someone else will have to help you out.

Actually it's not on top nor do you need to move the airbox. Simply push the lower radiator hose to one side and you'll find the plud about 2/3 down the front of the transmission. Takes a 15/16 wrench. Very aggrivating getting oil back in.

I actually did fill it on the top, I think it is a little easier than going in from the side. Either way works though
