New paseo

Hello, I just bought a 93 Toyota Paseo. It is a 5 speed with 140k miles. I am looking foward to learning about these cars.

Is this the most active Paseo forum?

The Tercel and the Paseo are pretty much the same. So look under Tercel here too. Plus head on over to www.TercelOnline.com and join that forum. It's very active with tons of great information. Use the search bottom where ever you are though. Less n00b questions then.

It's fairly active (but showcartercel has a very valid point). We'll be happy to answer most of your questions.

Thanks, I understand about the noob questions, being that I am a member of other forums for different vehicles. I just wanted to see if there are other good Paseo forums out there for me to look around on. I have read here that the Tercel is very much the same, but did not find the differences. Could you guys point me in the right direction on what the differences are in the two?

Stock sway bar, style, and depending on the year engine (though later tercels had the same engine) earlier paseos have the most power 100 vs 92 and 82. 14 inch whees as oppose to the stock 13's on the tercel. Same platform, suspention and engine family though.

91-94 Tercel vs 92-95 Paseo

Some interior is interchangeable easily. Pieces that I that I know are...

dash, visors, rear view mirror, center console, radio brackets, steering wheel, cluster (fits but might require wiring mods), front seatbelts (depending on 1pc or 2pc), turn signal/wiper mechanism (fits but airbag/non-airbag might be a problem)

Some suspension is interchangeable easily. Pieces that I that I know are...

lower a-arms (Tercel ones are not as heavy duty as the Paseo ones AFAIK), struts and shocks
