4E-FTE swap questions

What is a good price for the full swap? (eng, tranny, ecu, turbo components, boltons)

Does this swap use a distributorless ignition? I have a 95 (quasi-OBD2), and was wondering if I could even use my harness on this swap...

Anything under $1000 is a good price. 4E uses a distributor. You need to use some of the original wiring and some from the engine you plan to install. I'd buy the car but diesel fuel to drive the tow truck that far would equate the price of one here.

my buddy Kev lives up there in savannah, builds and works on people's hondas at AudioWorks.

I just thought I'd ask about the swap. It's actually looking pretty tempting. I just don't know if i have the patience, so I think I'm just going to unload the car.

Anyway, if you know anyone with a minivan or ranger/s10, the tow dolly is 34.99/day at U-haul, and a mini-truck can pull it. That's what I did when the car stopped running out on St. Simon's Island.

Is Kev the guy that drives the Mystery Machine van? If so he's met me a few times when he was talking to me about some high end alternators. I've seen their little Honda move and I'm almost ready to make a drive-by.

Nah, I don't think he usually drives the van. Kev's a short filipino who's ALWAYS owned a white hatch of one sort or another (he's had a couple), sometimes boosted, sometimes N/a. He went to school there at SCAD.

The man just tacked together a turbo mani from scratch for an integra up there. Sure wish I had the skilz.

And thanks for the answers above. If you know anyone who'd want a 4e-fte tercel, make sure you tell them about my shell for sale. Here's a starlet front clip on ebay for 1175 buyitnow: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-T...spagenameZWDVW
