Question Knock sensor problem..

Hi! I checked my engine codes and the code I have is about the knock sensor.. it say that the knock sensor don't have any signal between 1600rpm and 5200rpm. Did somebody know if that can be the problem why i don't have any power and my car is hard on gaz.. And the more important, if somebody know which knock sensor can i use to replace this one..Mr2, collolla, paseo.. thanks for the help..

If the knock sensor is bad, and the ecu detects that it is bad (as it must have done, if you are getting an ecu error code), then I think that the ecu retards the ignition timing, to prevent any risk of knock. A retarded ignition will reduce power and worsen fuel consumption.

I can't help you with the other questions. I don't even know where the Tercel knock sensor is located (I couldn't find any mention in Haynes).
