well, i got pulled over for no reason. unfortunatly my licence was suspended... the cop took my car. took me to jail. by the time i got out they sold the car. they said it was worth less then $300 so they didnt need to hold it. those rat bastards. i just did the 5efe conversion on it. i was working on the dash and getting it ready for right side drive. ugh...... there aint shit i can do about it now.

WHAT THE.... DAMN TALK A BIT SLOWER SO WE CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR TRYING TO SAY. How could the suspend your license for no reason then take your car and sell it..? Damn that sounds pretty messed up.

I have to agree, they don't generally just keep you in jail for a suspended license. Much more to this story than you're sharing.

well, i live in the sticks. the sheriff is the one who pulled me over. it was for no reason. i was just the only person who drove by in the last hour he was there. he said that he would let me go "BUT" his srg doesnt like people who drive under suspended licence so he had to book me. sucks balls. they sold my car cause apparently, if the car is valued under $300 by the cop they dont have to keep it. i got my licence suspended because i missed a court date in another county for driving with expired reg. i went to court on the 21st. the judge said if i get that ticket taken care of, ill only get a $200 fine. he said it was a bullsh*t reason for me to be there. but he said if i dont take care of the ticket ill have to do 10 days in jail, 3 years probation and $1800 fine. i cant get up to get the ticket taken care of cause i got no car...... ugh. i should get the ticket taken care of though. no worries. just needed to vent. but now i gotta find a pre 90 EZ..... gotta start all over again. damn.....

I don't know the laws in your area but them selling your car before you can do anything about it is BS, I'd be calling a lawyer with a swiftness.

If you want you could ask where they sold it to and buy it back. Unless the laywer thing doesnt work.
