i'm looking to buy a cylinder head for my dads 93 tercel 1.5 3ee motor. is 159.00 and 31.00 shipping a good price for a supposidly rebuilt head off of ebay? the guy has all good feedback and thats all he sells is heads. i just dont want to spend 200 on this, not if it is too much. any comments would be great.

this is what the guy wrote....

This is a fresh head, no miles since rebuilt. It is the head you need for
your 93. Shipping will run 31.00.

then in the next email...

Shipping will be 5-7 days. The head is pretty much ready to go. The cam
gear needs transferred over from your head. Also the valve lash needs set
after you installed the head. You set it by adjusting a bolt in the rocker
and checking the clearence between the rocker and the cam. It will show you
how to do it in your manual. The price is 159 plus 31 shipping.

and then his last email...

The valves, springs cam and rockers are installed. Paypal is best there are
no fees for you. I have to pay a small fee but no big deal.

is this a hard process to switch cam gears over? setting valve lash, etc.???

Swapping the gear is simple if you can swap the rest of the head. Adjusting the valves should be simple as well. That's not a bad price at all, but personally I'd deal with somebody local. Shipping is a pain it the ass if a problem arises and return is needed.
