Why do you want to get rid of it? Toyota motors are not like for example Honda motors where they can go like 500 - 1000rpm over redline. On Toyotas redline IS redline and i would suggest not to go past it unless you have supporting mods.

Uhhh, I was just trying to be helpful to tell him what the precaucions are before does a thing like this, im pretty sure no one likes the idea of a blown motor. I used Honda as an example as from what I know a 92 Integra with a B18 has a Honda redline of 6500. In truth it can rev to almost 7500 just Honda being conservative so people dont rev there motors too hard and lose reliabilty. Im pretty sure he wants to know what will happen if he removed redline...
