You are right. It is an ancient law. The fender position gives you a wider view. I think that we are the only country that have door mounted mirrors.
So, what engines do you have in those babies? I met a family that have one of those that they put a 4A-GE and suspension from a Corolla GTS. into and use it for autocross. I was so thrilled to see them beating some high-buck cars for raw times. Cars like BMW M3's, Mini Cooper S's, Benz SLK 350, and Nissan 350Z's.

Nice..I think I'm starting to get the bug now...for years it was Mustangs and Jeeps..but these things are kewl....great look'in cars you got there!
