stalling issue

hey guys. my 93 paseo runs fine until it warms up. once its warmed up it just stalls out. the only way to keep i running is to keep your foot on the gas at a stop otherwise it dies out. any ideas? TPS maybe? on a VW it would be the Idle Stabilizer Valve but i really dont know much about the toyota motors so i'm kind of lost here. thanks for the help.

It could be several things. I would start with the water temp sensor and the thermostat.

not quite sure. i was out of town and my brother was using the car when it happened. he said it was fine and then he noticed it was idling wierd and went to take off from a light and it died out. the alternator is charging properly and no lights are on in the dash. as far as the rpm, its anything above idle so anything over 1000-1200 rpm i would say. i didnt really pay exact attention to it.
