bolt pattern is the only thing i can think of that they wouldnt fit but other then that i tried on a pair of 17's once, they tucked like a mother but still fit. and as far as mods for your DIY, headers usally just bolt up to your block and down pipe. you know how to use a wrench i know you can do this. i know its a pretty much "duh" thing but theres not alot you can do mods wise without knowing the mechanics of the car.

there you go doax just ruining my fun just kidding. i think that the ram is better then cold air, well at least for our cars. yes colder the air the better the combustion but i am a firm believer in TB strength and our TB's dont have it. less air will be sucked in a cold air system then a ram air. if you add cryo which is suggested with a ram air system you should have even colder air with more volume.

i have 17's what you have to do is modify the rear because they will scrape the fender well so what i did was there's a lip on the in side part of the fender well you will need to hammer it in but you will also need something to put on the out side of the fender to keep it from hammering the fender its self out of wack i used a rubber sanding block this will make your rear end except the 17's the front should clear just fine i have 205/40/17 i wished i would have gone with 205/35/17's but eitherway you will be fine oh and also dont exceed a bunch of weight in the rear speaker box should be fine but watch the weight and also no fat chicks.
fat chicks are banded from my ride. lol' i know thats a really shitty thing to say but it will scrape and they wont give you money for new tires. you wand picks of 17's on a tercel click my geocitie web site and go to the big tercel symbol.

The only reason a wheel may not ever fit would be because of lug patter or number of lugs, totally wrong offset, bore diamerter for the hub can be too small. For instance. I am running some custom forged wheels on my 98 GSX. They are a 5x 114.3, +27mm offset, 17x9, and 67.1mm hub centric bore for a Eclipse( which is too small for alot of vehicles). I run a 275/40/17 tire all the way around and it has to be extremely far offset so not to use wheel spacers. One other thing is brake clearance. Using the same wheels as example I can run up to a 14" stoptech kit if I wanted to, instead im running 3000gt vr4 calipers and audi s8 brembo rotors. I can not run a stock wheel on my car because the brakes are too big now, at least on the front. Just always try to get wheels that fit the hubs bore also, and if you can't buy hub centric rings to adapt the bore size from what you have to what you need so the wheels will be nice and snug
