Radiator

I have a crack in my radiator and it's towards the top near the cap, so it needs to be replaced should I Just bite the bullet and pay to have it fixed? or should I replace it myself?
Is it hard to replace myself? and if not does anyone have step by step replacment instructions.?

Its pretty easy to replace yourself. You just drain it. Remove the intake snorkel. Then disconnect the fan(s) from the wire harness. Then pull off the tubes running to it. Then unbolt it on top and pull it out. Take the fan(s) off and put them on the new radiator and reverse the process. Its very easy. However, I recently took the radiator out of my 93 Terc and the bolts holding the fan on were totally rusted to the nuts on the radiator. I ended up having to cut the mounts off the old rad (theyre only plastic) because of this. Other than that hickup its a piece of cake.
