question about 97 tercel guage cluster...

Hey, whats up guys?! My sister has a white 97 toyota tercel thats 100% stock except the speakers and CD Player and she wants me to do a few things to it. She wants me to change her instrument panel ligh color but I cant seem to be able to pull out the cluster. I took the black plastic piece that was around it off, took the lower half of the dash apart too, but i still cant get behind the cluster. Can anyone tell me how to pull out the cluster??? I know it has 194 bulbs back their and I would really love to get to them but i just cant pull the cluster out!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me how to get it out, it had wire harnesses plugeed into the back of it but how in the hell do u get back their to unplug them?????

There are two screws at the bottom of the cluster and one screw at the top. After all those screws are out reach behind the cluster from the floor all the way up to the top to release the speedo cable. Pull the cluster out some and disconnect the three wiring harnesses. That should help. A better invesment would be to buy a cluster from a Paseo. They are backlit they look better with dif color bulbs and they have a tach. A liitle hard to do the wiring but well worth it. Mine are blue leds and i love them. The tach is great too.
