Swaping key switch

hey i was wonder if any one knows how to change a key switch on the tercels cause some guy is selling me a really good tercel for $50 ,new clutch, brakes 5speed tranny just for $50 and the body is really good, but car wont start cause of the switch to start it cause theres NO KEY and no title but im gonna fix it up better and sell it but i need to know if some one knows how to switch the key switch to a new one

If you get the VIN you can go to a Toyota dealer and they can get you a key for the car.

lol na his mom got mad at the guy and thro away the key dont know why but kinda funny and then she burned the title too lol, so how much u think they will give me the key for do you know?

Your getting the car for $50, does it really matter? You may need some sort of proof of ownership as well, although I'm not sure.

well we found the title for the car we got a copy of it but now the problem is getting a key for it, i was wondering a place called locksmith i dont know if any one heard of it but if they can make a copy of it, kinda like clone it by putting a key in the ignition and clone it like that

Yes locksmith will make you a key as long as the owner is there to present the title and prove ownership. I had one done for my car before with them.

cool man thanx well im gonna let him know about it, hey $50 a car that runs fun, cant get better than that unless it get the car that i really want, but he replaced lots of stuff on the car also too.

ok i got one more question is there any way to hot wire that car cause i need to move it asap i know theres 3 wires in the key ignition, i dont know what color they are but, do i have to take the whole thing apart and use a flat head to start it using the peice thats inside the key ignition cause i start a car like that before but i never took it apart, locksmith is closed and im not home on the weekdays and i need it asap just to get it out of his house just till i get it to my house then i really wouldnt care
