USA tercel headlight

i was wondering about the headlights on the 91-94 tercels. how come some head lights go back into the hood and on some others the head lights are flushed with the rest of the grill and hood? would it b a certain year this changed or something? could someone let me know

its a style thing
the flushed ones came on dx models
i think the ones that go into the hood are seal beamed not sure though

yeah your are right the flush headlight are off the Dx model of the the cel. The standard model has the set back one and they are sealed headlights.

Are the 91-94 housings interchangeable? I have the seal beams in mine, but would upgrade to the plug in style..

Yeah, they bolt right in. You just need to change the wiring as you mentioned.

Thanks, I will give it a shot, I can get the flush housings pretty cheap and then I have a lot of lighting options. The H4666 sealed beams are expensive and pretty basic.
