Have a 92 tercel DX 5spd. Looks like a paseo gauge cluster will fit in the same. Is there already wireing in the tercel for the tach? or would it have to be wired in? and if so how?
It bolts in, you do have to wire in the tach, I'm not sure how as I have a Paseo but you can find the info on www.TercelOnline.com
My tercel originally didnt have a tach too and i just plug and played mine in ... mind you it was out of another tercel not a paseo... just go to the wreckers and snatch a tercels cluster with the tach in it
The 95+ Tercels require wiring in the tach. The 91-94s will drop in, but often have problems such as the gas gauge not working, or the highbeam light being reversed (light on when highbeams off). If you can do any soldering/electrical work its not very hard to fix. I'd recommend searching on tercelonline.com for posts on this.

I had no troubles just get one out of a tercel and you'll be fine
You have to remember that cars differ slightly from the United States to Canada. There is even complete seperate sections in the Toyota Repair manuals for Canadian cars and the differences.
