Help with 3e-te

Hey guys. Apologies for not posting a proper intro thread but im pulling my hair out.

I have a 1989 toyota corsa with the 3e-te engine.

I blew the original up with way too much boost and had to replace it with a second handy from the other side of the country.

Anyhoo, the new motor idles a bit high but i can live with that but the starter motor died a while ago.

Long story short, i now have a wrong sized start motor, the guys a gave my original to have 'forgotten' about it and no-one in this friggin country (australia) can help me source a new one.

Is the 3e-te starter motor interchangable with something aussie sold?
Corolla etc?

Thanks in advance.

Josh

did you guys get the non turbo motor, the regular 3e-e? cause that might fit. or a starter from a 5efe should also fit.
