How do u tell how much mpg u got?

for example when i started from full to empty to readings of my gauge was : 3705? does that mean i got 37 MPG ?

Fill your tank and zero your trip meter.
Next fill up, record the number of gallons it takes to fill up.
Divide the amount of miles traveled by the number of gallons it takes to refill the tank, and that is your milage for that tank full. Use all the decimal places too.

It is best if you do this several times and get an average because your milage can vary according to the driving you do, conditions, traffic, weight in the vehicle, things like that.

Always stop pumping when the pump clicks off (or maybe an extra click) but always stop at the same number of clicks.

what??? are you saying 3705 miles or gallons or what??...your question doesn't really make sense, but do what Donald says and you should be good to go.
