Unhappy 95 Tercel Flexplate problem

Has anyone else has a flex plate come loose from the crankshaft? I have not had the chance to open the case/drop the tranny to have a look... Anyone else have something like this happen? What happened? Busted plate? Sheared bolts?

Thanks

Typically the area around the crank bolt holes on the flex plate cracks and the plate breaks loose. The plate being thin sheet metal can flex and fatigue resulting in cracks.

OK, so it might not be so bad then... I would hate to see the work involved with extracting the bolts from the crank if they were sheared! Still a big pain though!
